Much in the same way as Apple sparked a revolution on the smartphone market, Samsung essentially started a whole separate category within the industry with the original phablet – the 2011 Galaxy Note.

Crazy to imagine it nonetheless, but we finally have a hotly contested BlackBerry smartphone that’s worthy of being pitted against the greats in the industry. The BlackBerry Classic (initially known as Q20) was first revealed in February, at the same time with the BlackBerry Z3. While the Z3 is available in some markets since May, the Classic has yet to be released. Last we heard, the handset was supposed to go on sale in November, but this won’t happen after all. Instead, the new device will be launched in December.
